RB Presse-Data GmbH Chooses Net-It™ Central to Relaunch Intranet
PHOENIX, Arizona - June 5th, 2002 -- Informative Graphics
Corporation (IGC), a leader in Web document and collaboration technology
announced today that RB Presse-Data GmbH, a computer and IT services
provider to print and electronic publishing companies, has selected
IGC's Net-It Central Web publishing solution for its corporate intranet.
The transaction was conducted through IGC's wholly-owned subsidiary,
Dusseldorf-based Informative Graphics Europe (IGE).
RB Presse Data will use Net-It Central in conjunction with the
re-launch of an intranet that has served the company for more then
five years. The intranet was originally implemented to ensure
everyone had access to up-to-date information. In the meantime,
document maintenance and upkeep became very difficult and expensive,
and converting documents to HTML was taking too long. As a
result, RB Presse employees used email and file sharing to exchange
information. However, these methods have proven to be inefficient
and inadequate. Net-It Central offers the perfect solution
because it can be deployed in a day and requires no training or
technical expertise to use.
Net-It Central is used by over 1000 companies - such as Bayer AG,
Deutsche Bank, Bosch, Dresdner Bank, Vodaphone, Novartis, NATO and
the United Nations - to create self-maintaining document intranets.
Creating an intranet and publishing documents can be accomplished
in less than a day. All employees can easily add information
because Net-It Central does not require any knowledge of HTML or other
complicated programs. Net-It Central includes a scheduler that
automatically builds the site, so adding and updating information
takes only a few minutes and the changes appear on the intranet automatically.
