Informative Graphics® Releases Net-It® Now
3.0 With Visual Rights® Security As Low-Cost Content Publishing Alternative To
Adobe PDF
Client-Side Publishing Features
Ease-Of-Use, Free Brava!® Reader Provided
PHOENIX, Arizona November 12, 2003 -- Informative
Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in Web-document and collaboration
technology, released its Net-It® Now 3.0 publishing software. It offers users
a fast, easy-to-use, and content-secure alternative for file publishing with
visual access via a free reader.
Net-It Now publishes files by capturing high resolution vector- and
raster-based print streams from most Windows applications, including Microsoft
Word, Visio and Project; WordPerfect; and image-layout programs such as
Photoshop® and Quark Express™ and even Windows-based CAD applications. Net-It
Now honors existing hyperlinks and bookmarks and allows the resolution of
embedded images to be down-sampled to reduce file sizes. Files are published
into IGC's "content sealed format" (CSF) with Visual Rights® protection.
Visual Rights is IGC's persistent security controls that can be
applied to CSF files at publishing. Users can create CSF files from drawings,
documents and images, and add controls such as password protection, hard or
relative viewing expiration dates and allow/disallow printing, copying, and
measurement. CSF files are compressed and AES 256 bit-encrypted. For more
information about Visual Rights, visit
http://www.infograph.com/visrights.htm.
CSF files created by Net-It Now can be viewed and printed using
the free Brava!® Reader web and desktop software, also from IGC - see
http://www.infograph.com/press/bravareader.htm. IGC plans to support CSF
annotation and redaction in an upcoming release of its Brava v5.0 web-based
view and markup software. "Print
stream publishing provides accurate content fidelity without requiring any
de-engineering of native application file formats. With Net-It Now, we're
offering a secure and less expensive way to produce and distribute documents,
drawings and images for viewing and print," said Gary Heath, CEO at IGC.
"Net-It Now is a fast, accurate and secure way to share documents, images and
drawings." Trial software for Net-It
Now is immediately available at:
http://www.net-it.com/. The introductory price for Net-It Now is $29
through Jan 1. List price is $99.
